A co-founder of Marathon, Bill has over 20 years of experience as a IT executive, leading and mentoring a diverse range of technology professionals, from help desk personnel to system administrators.  He is seasoned in building technology teams, establishing technical policy, and managing large-scale technology projects.

Bill is also a co-founder and CEO of Stack Advisors, a consultancy for MSPs and IT service providers. He has assembled a team of systems experts at Stack Advisors to provide MSPs and IT support providers strategic consulting and expert integrations.

Formerly Director of Technology for the Digital Club Network, Bill’s expertise ranges from multi-site connectivity to state-of-the-art server configuration, machine roll-out, physical installs, platform conversions and co-location optimization and maintenance.  Bill has lead teams as the Director of Technology for APB Online, Senior Technical Engineer at E! Entertainment TV, and as Technical Service Manager for the Commonwealth Network, a pioneering Silicon Alley start-up.

Bill moved from Colorado, where he performed Doom technical support, was a river guide and an avid spelunker.  In 1984, he achieved the world record for the Men’s Mechanical 120m Vertical Contest, an NSS convention yearly event.  He still holds this record today.

Bill loves spending time with his two children,  camping, and devoting time to his second passion, which is cooking. The entire Marathon team and Bill’s friends are thrilled when he hosts one of his amazing and delicious outdoor barbecues.
