Meet the Marathon Team: New Engineers of Summer 2015

2015 continues to be a growth year for Marathon Consulting. We added 24/5 service and keep adding new engineers to make sure our clients receive the outstanding service that makes Marathon unique in the IT marketplace.

We’re excited to introduce you to the latest engineers to join the team at Marathon. (Salim is top left in the photo and it goes around clockwise from there.)

Salim, Helpdesk Specialist – Salim comes from a marketing background where he made a living providing exemplary service to his clients. He’s excited to do the same serving the IT needs of Marathon’s clients. When he’s not working, Salim enjoys playing peek-a-boo with his eight-month-old daughter and watching Netflix with his wife.

Miguel, Helpdesk Specialist – Miguel managed a pawnshop in Spanish Harlem before joining the Marathon team. In his spare time, he paints and sells his artwork during comic conventions. After Hurricane Katrina, Miguel moved to Gulfport, MS with the YouthBuild Katrina Rebuilding Program.

Thayne, Helpdesk Specialist – Thayne worked at the Brooklyn Public Library helping adult learning center students with various needs including literacy skills. He is a student at City Tech in Brooklyn. Thayne is a film & TV junkie, has written and edited screenplays in his spare time and has an ever-growing comic book collection. Thayne recently won the Morgan Stanley Leadership Award in his class at NPower.

Ricardo, Systems Availability Analyst – For the past five years, Ricardo has been working towards getting his ICT bachelor’s degree, which he will obtain in early August. Ricardo has two overactive kids, so he spends most of his time doing activities with them or going to Disney shows. He was the valedictorian for his high school. Go Warriors!

You can learn more about our current positions to see if you’d be a good fit to join the team at Marathon Consulting. We’ve been named one of the best places to work in NYC tech by Internet Week and our annual holiday party is…well, it’s epic. :)
